Basics of archery, from which a style can be
developed from
- Stance (variances of each)
- Bow Hand
- Draw Hand
- Pre Draw / Draw
- Anchor
- Hold & Aim
- Release & Follow through (Dance a jig as arrow fizzes into the gold)

At the completion of the
course, participants should be able to

- Name Key parts of the bow, and how to select a bow
for themselves
- Name all parts of an arrow, and able to select arrows
- Understand brace height / tiller / how to look after
equipment
- Maintain equipment and arrows
- How to score

What age do I have to be |
Warringah Archers will accept juniors as young as 6 years of age,
there is no limit to age, so our more senior members of the public
are most welcome. |

What do I need to wear |
- Closed shoes are important, no open footwear is allowed
- T/Shirt or long sleeved shirt, preferably with a collar, nothing too baggy
that will get in the way of a string being released.
- Hat
- Water bottle (if none available, water can be purchased at the club).
- MOST IMPORTANT a SMILE

On Arrival |
Participants will be asked to fill out a temporary membership form,
this will cover students throughout the duration of the course for
insurance.
